Fed: Mobile phone use prompts 'personal problems' - researcher

Australians are becoming addicted to mobile phones.

New research shows some mobile users suffer anxiety and self-esteem issues .. akin to drug abuse.

Consumer behaviour researcher .. DIANA JAMES from Queensland University of Technology
.. says mobiles are a huge part of people's social lives.

She says excessive mobile phone users suffer problems .. ranging from agitation if
they have to turn them off .. to low self-esteem if they don't get calls or text messages.
